Laado — A Legacy Reimagined

Laado is more than just a name. It’s a tribute to generations of artistry, heritage, and feminine grace passed down through time.

Our story begins in the historic city of Lucknow, India, where the designer’s grandmother’s family pioneered the art of hand embroidery. Their atelier was known for its meticulous craftsmanship, working with the most luxurious fabrics and creating heirloom pieces for discerning clientele. Specializing in delicate threadwork, zardozi, and fine embellishments, their work was revered for its elegance and authenticity.

Years later, their legacy has found new life across the border, in Pakistan — carried forward by a granddaughter who grew up surrounded by silks, spools, and stories of a golden age of embroidery. Honoring the name and legacy of her grandmother’s workshop, she revived Laado with a modern soul but the same timeless heart.

At Laado, every piece is a celebration of Eastern femininity — hand-embroidered in premium silks, organzas, chiffons, and luxe blends, crafted by artisans who carry forward the rare skills of a bygone era. Each design holds a story, stitched with love, patience, and heritage.

Rooted in tradition, refined for today — Laado is where old-world craftsmanship meets the elegance of contemporary Eastern wear.

About the Designer:

A proud bearer of a generational legacy, the designer behind Laado grew up listening to tales of her grandmother’s embroidery studio in Lucknow — where beauty was handmade, not manufactured. Today, she brings that same spirit into modern Pakistani fashion, reviving the family’s original name, Laado, and reintroducing it to a new generation of women who value elegance, authenticity, and craft.
